 •INHALATION Blue lips or finger nails. Blue skin. Dizziness. Headache.
Ventilation, local exhaust, or breathing protection.
Fresh air, rest. Artificial respiration if indicated. Refer for medical attention.
 •SKIN MAY BE ABSORBED! Redness. Blue lips or fingernails. Blue skin. (Further see Inhalation).
Protective clothing.
Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap. Refer for medical attention.
 •EYES Redness.
Safety goggles.
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
 •INGESTION Blue lips or fingernails. Blue skin. Dizziness. Headache. Laboured breathing.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
Rinse mouth. Refer for medical attention.
SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
Consult an expert! Ventilation. Sweep spilled substance into containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place. (Extra personal protection: A/P2 filter respirator for organic vapour and harmful dust).
Separated from strong oxidants, strong bases. Cool. Dry. Well closed.

The substance decomposes on heating producing toxic fumes including nitrogen oxides, hydrogen chloride (see ICSC 0163). Reacts with strong bases and strong oxidants .

The substance irritates the eyes, the skin and the respiratory tract. The substance may cause effects on the blood system , resulting in formation of methaemoglobin. The effects may be delayed. Medical observation is indicated. See Notes.
