TYPES OF HAZARD/ EXPOSURE ACUTE HAZARDS/ SYMPTOMS PREVENTION FIRST AID/
FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE Not combustible. Liquid formulations containing organic solvents may be flammable. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.

In case of fire in the surroundings: use appropriate extinguishing media.
EXPLOSION

EXPOSURE
PREVENT DISPERSION OF DUST! AVOID EXPOSURE OF ADOLESCENTS AND CHILDREN!

 •INHALATION Cough. Sore throat.
Avoid inhalation of fine dust and mist.
Fresh air, rest.
 •SKIN Redness.
Protective gloves.
Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
 •EYES Redness. Pain.
Safety goggles.
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
 •INGESTION Diarrhoea.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Wash hands before eating.
Rest. Refer for medical attention.
SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
Do NOT wash away into sewer. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. Sweep spilled substance into covered containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place.
Provision to contain effluent from fire extinguishing. Separated from food and feedstuffs .
Do not transport with food and feedstuffs.

PHYSICAL STATE; APPEARANCE:
YELLOW SOLID IN VARIOUS FORMS.

PHYSICAL DANGERS:

CHEMICAL DANGERS:
The substance decomposes on heating producing toxic fumesincludinghydrogen chloride.

OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS:
TLV not established.

ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of dusts and by ingestion.

INHALATION RISK:
Evaporation at 20°C is negligible; a harmful concentration of airborne particles can, however, be reached quickly on spraying or when dispersed, especially if powdered.

EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
The substance is irritating to the eyes , the skin and the respiratory tract . The substance may cause effects on the central nervous system. Exposure at high level may result in unconsciousness.

EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
PHYSICAL

ENVIRONMENTAL
DATA
This substance may be hazardous to the environment; special attention should be given to fish. Avoid release to the environment in circumstances different to normal use.
N O T E S
If the substance is formulated with solvent(s) also consult the card(s) (ICSC) of the solvent(s). Carrier solvents used in commercial formulations may change physical and toxicological properties. Conversan, Dow Seed Disinfectant n°5, Psorisan, Reranil, Spergon, Vulklor are trade names. Card has been partly updated in October 2004. See sections Occupational Exposure Limits, EU classification, Emergency Response.
