FIRE Combustible.
NO open flames.
Powder, alcohol-resistant foam, water in large amounts, carbon dioxide.
EXPLOSION Above 75°C explosive vapour/air mixtures may be formed.
Above 75°C use a closed system, ventilation.

EXPOSURE


 •INHALATION Sore throat. Cough. Headache. Nausea. Dizziness. Drowsiness. Unconsciousness.
Ventilation, local exhaust, or breathing protection.
Fresh air, rest. Refer for medical attention.
 •SKIN Redness. Pain.
Protective gloves.
Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
 •EYES Redness. Pain.
Safety spectacles.
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
 •INGESTION Abdominal pain (further see Inhalation).
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
Rinse mouth. Refer for medical attention.
SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Wash away remainder with plenty of water.
Separated from incompatible substances: see Chemical Dangers. Keep in the dark. Store only if stabilized.

The substance can presumably form explosive peroxides. Reacts violently with strong oxidants, several N-chloro- and N-bromoimides causing fire and explosion hazard.

The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation and through the skin.

INHALATION RISK:
No indication can be given about the rate in which a harmful concentration in the air is reached on evaporation of this substance at 20°C.

The substance irritates the eyes, the skin and the respiratory tract. The substance may cause effects on the central nervous system. Exposure at high level may result in unconsciousness.
