FIRE Not combustible.
NO open flames.
In case of fire in the surroundings: all extinguishing agents allowed.
EXPLOSION

In case of fire: keep drums, etc., cool by spraying with water.
EXPOSURE


 •INHALATION Confusion. Dizziness. Drowsiness. Unconsciousness.
Local exhaust or breathing protection.
Fresh air, rest. Artificial respiration if indicated. Refer for medical attention.
 •SKIN
Protective gloves.
Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower.
 •EYES Redness. Pain.
Safety spectacles.
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
 •INGESTION (See Inhalation).

Rest.
SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
Collect leaking liquid in sealable containers. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. Chemical protection suit including self-contained breathing apparatus.
Keep in a well-ventilated room.

COLOURLESS LIQUID , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR.

PHYSICAL DANGERS:
The vapour is heavier than air and may accumulate in low ceiling spaces causing deficiency of oxygen.

CHEMICAL DANGERS:
The substance decomposes on heating producing phosgene , hydrogen fluoride and hydrogen chloride .

OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS:

The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation.

INHALATION RISK:
No indication can be given about the rate in which a harmful concentration in the air is reached on evaporation of this substance at 20°C.

EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
The substance irritates the eyes . The substance may cause effects on the central nervous system and cardiovascular system , resulting in narcosis and cardiac disorders.

The substance may have effects on the liver.
